The Cisco DNA Center is a key element of Cisco DNA architecture providing controller base solution for design, deployment and operations. Cisco DNA Center Assurance

Cisco DNA analytics and assurance provides you the end-to-end visibility that you need to get the pulse of your network. the solution collects data from multiple sources for devices, applications and uses. it then applies advanced algorithms to uncover correlated insights and suggest remediation. with Cisco DNA assurance you can gain the full visibility into the health of your network, predict performance and issues even before they happen and rapidly troubleshoot issues using suggested remediation put together by our experts. You can observe the overall health summary of the network in the assurance dashboard.

This summary is divided into two segments. First network health gives you an insight into the health of the network infrastructure components. these includes switches routers whilst LAN controllers and access points. Second, client health provides a report on the wired and wireless clients on the network. the overall health chair map shows a view of the entire network with multiple geographical sites. this map provides visual cues about the health status of the site. green indicating healthy Network while amber and red indicates problems.

DNA Center Software Upgrade

Cisco DNA Center performs compliance checks on the images, automatically download software maintenance updates or SMUs for the images and prompts you to provision image updates to the applicable device families. Before you begin ensure that your network devices have been discovered are available on the inventory page and are in managed state. after you have verified all this begin by accessing the image repository page.

The image repository page shows all the Suffern images that Cisco DNA Center has stored. images that have been assigned to device families, software versions, images marked as golden number of devices using an image and etc. for some images Cisco DNA centers shows the Cisco recommended versions and the latest versions available. this helps you decide which software image to use for a device family.
