The Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series is available with either the IP Base image or the IP Services image. The IP Base image feature set includes advanced quality of service (QoS), rate-limiting, access control lists (ACLs), static routing, Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and EIGRP stub routing, capabilities. The IP Services image provides a richer set of enterprise-class features, including advanced hardware-based IPv6 and multicast routing.

By default, Cisco Catalyst 3750 switches support traditional licensing. In this way, by using a proper product activation key provided by Cisco partner, specific instances would be activated on the device. Although, after updating the IOS XE to latest version, Cisco smart licensing would be replaced and supported.
Although Cisco has declared the Catalyst 3750’s End-of-Sale and support date, still smart license can be used on these switches by updating the device to latest IOS. Also, Cisco Catalyst 3000 PLR License can be used to register all product instances permanently.
