Available network modules offer 1G, 10G, 25G, and 40G expansion and all models have 900GB of memory plus an additional memory slot.
The Cisco Secure Firewall 3110 Appliance provides 18 Gbps firewall throughput and 8 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput. The 3110 supports 2 million concurrent sessions, 64,000 new connections per second and up to 3,000 VPN peers. The Cisco Secure Firewall 3120 model offers 22 Gbps firewall throughput and 10 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput. The 3120 Firewall supports 4 million concurrent sessions, 98,000 new connections per second and up to 7,000 VPN peers. The Cisco Firewall Model 3130 offers 42 Gbps Firewall-throughput and up to 14 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput.
The 3130 for example, supports 6 million concurrent sessions, 200,000 new connections per second and up to 15,000 VPN peers. The Cisco Secure Firewall 3140 Appliance provides 49 Gbps firewall throughput and 17 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput. The 3140 enables 10 million concurrent sessions, 200,000 new connections per second and a maximum of 20,000 VPN peers.
